Winger Harold Edgley makes his Villa debut aged 19 after joining from Crewe Alexandra in June 1911 for a fee of £50.
Goalkeeper Dicky Roose makes his final appearance for Villa aged 33 before moving on to Woolwich Arsenal in November 1911. Roose had been an ever present so far in the 1911-12 season making 10 appearances and conceding 19 goals as Villa struggled for form.
