Frank Mann
Player #230 for Aston Villa, Frank Drury Mann, known as Frank Mann, played as a winger for the club in the outside right position.
Frank played for Villa in the 1911-12 season making just one appearance for the club.
Frank was born in Newark on 17th March 1891 and made his sole appearance for Villa at the age of 20 on the 17th February 1912.
Villa had signed Frank from Lincoln City in May 1911 and following his single appearance he moved on to Huddersfield Town in July 1912 for a fee of £1,000, a very good return on Villa’s investment.
Frank played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Frank passed away in Nottingham in July 1966 aged 75.
