Villa lose for the fourth consecutive game with their relegation to third tier virtually secured.
Vic Crowe's Villa lose four successive League games for the for the first time this season and for the sixth time under his stewardship to record one win, two draws and six defeats in his nine games and make it five wins, eleven draws and nineteen defeats in thirty five division two matches this season. As a result of their fourth successive defeat Villa remain bottom of the table, meanwhile, winger Emment Kapengwe made his third and final appearance for Villa aged 26 before moving on to Atlanta Chiefs in May 1970.
