Brian was born in Glasgow on 28 June 1948 and he made his sole appearance for Villa on Saturday, 13 September 1969 aged 21 under Tommy Docherty as Villa lost heavily to Watford - the club to whom he would be transferred in October 1971 aged 23 without making a further appearance for Villa.
