Villa had signed Evan on a two month loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers to cover for the injured John Dunn and he was the 64th custodian of the Villa goal in League & Cup football.
Over his 13 appearances Evan conceded 20 goals at a ratio of 1.54 whilst keeping 2 clean sheets.
Williams made his final appearance for Villa on Saturday, 11 October 1969 aged 26 before returning to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
