Villa now have one win in their last eleven games including the end of the 1914-15 season.
Villa suffer their a seventh defeat in nine games in 1919-20.
Villa fail to score for the fourth time in nine games whilst conceding 20.
Villa remain bottom of the table with this defeat to a side just two places above them in the table as only Sam Hardy's goalkeeping performance prevents it being a much bigger loss.
Forward Dick Sloley makes his second and final appearance for Villa aged 24 before returning to Corinthians at the end of his loan spell.
