George played for Villa in the 1919-20 season making 4 appearances.
George was born in West Bromwich, less than 7 miles from Villa Park, on 5th June 1889 and he made his debut appearance for Villa on the 27th September 1919 aged 30.
Villa had signed George from Southampton in March 1919.
George played his final game for Villa on the 18th October 1919 just 3 weeks after his debut before moving on to Coventry City.
George played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
George passed away in Rushall on 2 November 1954 aged 65.
