Nil-nil at half time, Villa pile on the pressure and goals in the second half with Billy Walker opening the season with a four goal haul to record a stunning opening day win over an Arsenal side that had bribed its way into the top flight ahead of the resumption of League football in 1919.
It's Villa's 5th successive victory against Arsenal.
Meanwhile for 1920-21 the League had readopted the short-lived format of 1919 where clubs were scheduled to play double header fixtures through the season.
