MATCHDAY QUOTES
"We never looked as if we were going to win.
”I’m annoyed with myself because I should have buried the chance that fell my way instead of hitting goal keeper Hans Segers the legs.”
Kevin Richardson.
“Although we always seem to raise our game against the better sides, we let ourselves down when we meet teams like Wimbledon.
“We should really have done a lot better. But we didn’t deserve anything from this contest.
"When you to places like Wimbledon you should expect to win But you don't get anything if you play as poorly as we did today"
Paul McGrath.
"The manager wasn't too pleased with me afterwards But if I'm not getting the right service there's not much I can do about it.”
Cyrille Regis.

JOE KINNEAR was met by a standing ovation from the Dons' fans as he took his seat before the match.
And after seeing this result they might be ready to give him the freedom of Wimbledon.
The Dons celebrated only their second win since October 5 as they overpowered Villa.
John Fashanu started the Dons' celebration party in the 24th minute when he tucked Paul Miller's cross home from just a yard.
And Terry Phelan made sure of a Dons day to remember with a superb second after Warren Barton had won the ball in his own box and set Miller free down the right.
He rolled the ball to Robbie Earle who in turn found Phelan and the full-back swept his shot past Les Sealey for his first of the season.
The nearest Villa came to breaking their duck came when Cyrille Regis turned well but drove over.
Ron Atkinson's side have now gone five League games without a goal.
