MATCHDAY QUOTES

"Opportunities also arose for Villa to force victory but David Seaman denied Tony Daley on two occasions and Cyrille Regis as the match neared the death."

*Sunday Tribune*
Sunday, 12 January 1992

LES Sealey produced a majestic goalkeeping display which served to prolong Arsenal's recent misery.

A hat-trick of Sealey saves deprived Arsenal of two precious home points and virtually knocked George Graham's men out of the Championship race. V

Villa boss Ron Atkinson had placed his faith in a youthful side but it was old stager Sealey who stole the show.

He looked far younger than his 34 years as he plunged around his goal to deny Kevin Campbell just before the interval and Alan Smith just after it.

Then he was on hand again to deny Campbell as Arsenal threatened to achieve a result they didn't deserve.

Opportunities also arose for Villa to force victory but David Seaman denied Tony Daley on two occasions and Cyrille Regis as the match neared the death.
