“That’s a tremendous psychological factor.
“Another booking and I will be up before an FA Disciplinary Committee, so there’s always the fear of suspension.
“It has affected my game a little - it’s bound to.
“Sometimes I pull back just that little bit or take the tiniest amount of edge offa tackle.
“But I’m not particularly worried about this latest spell [one goal in his last nine games].
“Goal scoring is not the greater part of my game, but, as a centre forward, I’m expected to knock in a few.
“Seventy per cent of my game is taking the knocks and laying the ball off - making chances for others.”
