Vila make it eleven wins, two draws and two defeats in their fifteen division one games so far this season.
Villa win nine successive League games for the first time since the 1897-98 season.
Villa move to outright first in the table.
Villa’s nine game consecutive league winning run is a record that would not be broken until the 2018-19 season, 118 years later, when Villa, under local boy Dean Smith recorded ten successive wins in the second tier of English football to help Villa gain promotion back to the top flight after an absence of three years.
Forward Horace Henshall makes his Villa debut aged 21 and creating two goals after joining from Bridgetown Amateurs as a 16 year old in May 1906.
