Player #218 for Aston Villa, James Walter Edmund Jones, known as Jimmy Jones and also as Walter Jones played as a forward for the club.
Jimmy played for Villa in the 1910-11 season making 2 appearances.
Jimmy was born in Wellington 2nd April 1890 and made his debut appearance for Villa at the age of 20 on the 24th September 1910.
Villa had signed Jimmy from Shrewsbury Town 2 months earlier in July 1910.
Jimmy would stay with Villa for the rest of the decade before being sold to Bristol Rovers in May 1919 however his final game came on 1st October 1910, just a week after his debut.
Jimmy played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Jimmy passed away in Bristol in September 1951 aged 61.
