Edmund played for Villa between 1908-09 and 1910-11 making 46 appearances.
Edmund was born in Worksop on 2nd December 1882 and made his debut appearance for Villa at the age of 26 on the 12th December 1908.
Villa signed Edmund from Birmingham and during his time with Villa Edmund finally attained success by winning the 1909-10 League title making 13 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
Edmund followed up the league success with 2nd place and in his time with Villa never finished below 7th in the table.
Edmund moved on to Middlesbrough after playing his final game for Villa on 7 January 1911.
Edmund played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Edmund passed away in Worksop in 1943 aged 61.
