Villa are held at struggling reigning champions Everton as they have to contend with a series of questionable decisions from referee Millward who awards a non-free kick to allow Everton a first half score before awarding an equally doubtful penalty immediately following Villa's deserved equaliser. Happily on that occasion Harry Morton pulled off another excellent save.
George Brown hits his fourteenth of the campaign as Villa make it nine wins, four draws and a defeat in their fourteen division one games so far this season.
Villa make it 35 goals scored in 14 games so far in 1932-33 and six clean sheets but concede three for the second time in three games.
Villa remain second in the table but are now two points behind Arsenal following their latest victory and face their title rivals at Villa Park next.
