Ken was born in Hove on 10 April 1909 and made his sole appearance for Villa on the 18 April 1933 aged 24.
Villa had originally signed Ken from Birmingham in December 1931 and he went on to join Notts County later in 1932 without appearing in the Villa first team. However Ken was to return to Villa in January 1933 after which came his sole appearance and a move to Bradford Park Avenue.
Ken was the 44th custodian of the Villa goal in League and Cup football, keeping a clean sheet in his one start for the club.
Ken had played under the Billy Smith led Management Committee.
Ken passed away in Birmingham on 20th November 1970 aged 61.
