Villa lose for the first time in four but as with their previous defeat in 1937-38 - away to Luton - it shouldn't have been points dropped. Villa's John Maund is injured in a first half tackle before being taken seriously ill at half time with suspected pleurisy. Transfered to hospital, Villa play the second half with tem men before being beaten by a single goal.
Villa fall back to joint 5th, three points behind new leaders Coventry.
