Villa extend their unbeaten League run to twelve games but can only draw one of their games in hand as they are held to a goalless draw in a bitter game at Goodison Park by mid table Everton.

Villa make it eighteen wins, five draws and five defeats in their twenty eight division one games so far this season.

Despite dropping a point Villa are now three points clear at the top of the table with two games in hand over the chasing pack.
