As many observers suspected Villa in joint fourth after three games flattered to deceive and so it proved as Jimmy McMullan leads the side to a five goal defeat that could, and should, have been far more were it not for Harry Morton.
Villa, described as "hopelessly inferior" simply did not operate as a team once again as they gift Wolves their first win of the season
