Villa face Blackpool for the first time in competitive football, Blackpool become the 76th team that the Villa first team has played in League or Cup football.
Villa stop a run of successive defeats but are held at Bloomfield to make it eight wins, four draws and four defeats in their sixteen division one games having scored FORTY FOUR goals.
Fred Biddlestone, still recovering from his roughhouse treatment in the defeat to Derby misses out as Percy Maggs is called up for his second appearance of the season and second in over two years since joining the club.
Villa remain in fifth and are now 6 points off leaders Arsenal with second placed Porstmouth up next.
