Meanwhile, full back Peter Aldis made his final appearance for Villa aged 32 before moving to Hinckley Athletic in July 1960.
Aldis played for Villa between 1950-51 and 1958-59 making 296 appearances and scoring once.
Also appearing for the final time was Les Smith who made his final Villa appearance aged 31 before retiring from injury.
Smith played for Villa between 1955-56 and 1958-59 making 130 appearances and scoring 25 goals.
