Villa are crushed at St Andrew's as they are well beaten by Birmingham to sit one point adrift at the bottom of the table with no sign of a new manager six games after the departure of Eric Houghton.
Managerless Villa to make it six wins, four draws and thirteen defeats in twenty three division one games so far this season.
Meanwhile, forward Wally Hazelden made his final appearance for Villa aged 17 before moving on to Wigan Athletic in July 1960. Hazelden played for Villa in 1957-58 and 1958-59 making nineteen appearances and scoring five goals.
