Len Capewell ends the season with thirty four goals but Villa are held at home on the final day to make it seventeen wins, twelve draws and thirteen defeats in their forty two division one matches as they finish in sixth place.
The season finale - Villaโs 1,350th League and FA Cup game - also saw the final game for Secretary Manager George Ramsay after his astonishing 1,324 matches in charge.
Ramsay, who took on the role at the age of 35 was now 71 and retired to Llandrindod Wells before passing away aged 80 on the 7 October 1935 to leave a gravestone reading โFounder of Aston Villaโ.
