DANIELE Dichio lifted Queens Park Rangers out of the doldrums with a Premiership debut goal at Loftus Road. Substitute Gary Penrice then sealed QPR's first League win for more than two months as the relegation pressure mounted on Aston Villa. With England striker Les Ferdinand suspended, Dichio (20) and 19-year-old Kevin Gallen formed the youngest QPR spearhead for 20 years. Both kept Villa at full stretch with willing runs and nerveless challenges. Dichio, who made his senior debut in the Coca Cola Cup defeat by Manchester City on Tuesday, gained his reward after 36 minutes. The lanky, pony-tailed forward could hardly believe his luck after Paul McGrath failed to react to an lan Holloway pass. Dichio calmly rounded Mark Bosnich to slot in an angled shot. Penrice, who had replaced the towering Gallen, added a second goal in injury time, when both Bosnich and Earl Barrett missed a David Bardsley through ball, leaving the substitute with an easy tap-in, Manger Ron Atkinson gave Nii Lamptey his Premiership debut.
