"Steve Stone rescued Forest's unbeaten home record and stopped Villa’s climb to third place in the table with a spectacular equaliser just seven minutes from time at the City Ground."
*The Irish Independent”
Monday, 11 December 1995
Steve Stone rescued Forest's unbeaten home record and stopped Villa’s climb to third place in the table with a spectacular equaliser just seven minutes from time at the City Ground.
Dwight Yorke's 10th strike of the season two minutes after the break had looked like giving an under-strength Villa a deserved victory having been the last Premiership side win at Forest back in January.
