"Dwight Yorke scored 13 minutes from the end of an undistinguished match."
*The Sunday Tribune*
Sunday, 29 October 1995
Dwight Yorke scored 13 minutes from the end of an undistinguished match. Yorke flung himself at Mark Draper’s cross for a looping header that beat Neville Southall for his seventh goal of the season.
Yorke drove a 20 yarder against an upright in a rare first half Villa raid but if the first half was all Everton, the second clearly belonged to Villa.
Southall was busy, saving from Andy Townsend, the lively Yorke and Southgate before being beaten by the pacy Trinidadian.
