"Milosevic has been a different player since the collapse of his move to Perugia last month, finally showing the kind of form on a consistent basis that persuaded manager Brian Little to pay £3.5m for his services in the summer of 1995 and warned that the best was still to come from his flourishing partnership with Dwight Yorke."

ASTON VILLA striker Savo Milosevic helped destroy Wimbledon's proud unbeaten run with two goals and then sent a shiver down the spine of the rest of the Premiership title chasers.
Milosevic has been a different player since the collapse of his move to Perugia last month, finally showing the kind of form on a consistent basis that persuaded manager Brian Little to pay £3.5m for his services in the summer of 1995 and warned that the best was still to come from his flourishing partnership with Dwight Yorke.
Many more performances likes this from the Serb and any thoughts Little may have of moving into the market for the likes of Liverpool's Stan Collymore, Celtic's Pierre Van Hooydonk or any other multi-million pound striker may well be rendered redundant.
The Dons' previously mean-machine defence on their travels only seven Premiership goals conceded previously away from home simply could not contain the Milosevic-Yorke combination as Villa powered to a 5-0 win.
While Milosevic rejoiced in finally producing the goods, Yorke is already on a red-hot scoring streak with 11 goals in the last 12 matches and chasing last season's tally of 25.
Milosevic said: "Myself and Dwight have got to know each other over the past 18 months as a partnership and things definitely now look much better for us but I think there is more to come from the both of us.
Milosevic added: ''The good thing for Aston Villa is that we have a hit a winning streak while some of the other leading teams such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle have been losing the odd game recently. We also still have a lot more to come from us as a team."
