Forward Ken O Roberts makes his Villa debut after moving from Wrexham in May 1953 and in so doing becomes the youngest player to ever start a League match for Villa.
Roberts contributes two assists for Tommy Thompson on debut but Eric Houghton's Villa lose for the sixth time in eight to make it ten wins, three draws and fourteen defeats in twenty seven division one games so far this season.
