Player #433 for Aston Villa, Dennis Ronald Parsons, known as Dennis Parsons, played as a goalkeeper for the club.
Dennis played for Villa between 1952-53 and 1954-55 making 41 appearances.
Dennis was born in Birmingham, just 3 miles from Villa Park, on 29 May 1925 and made his debut appearance for Villa on Saturday, 28 November 1953 at the age of 29.
Villa had signed Dennis from Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 1952.
Dennis was the 52nd custodian of the Villa goal in League and Cup football.
Across his 41 games for Villa, Dennis conceded 65 goals at a ratio of 1.59 goals per game whilst keeping 10 clean sheets.
Dennis played his final game for Villa on Saturday, 18 September 1954 aged 29 after 2 seasons with the club before moving on to Kidderminster Harriers in September 1956.
Dennis had played under Villa managers George Martin and Eric Houghton.
Dennis passed away in Solihull on 27 May 1980 aged 55.
