Newcastle United dropped into the Premier League’s bottom three as relegated Aston Villa ended a run of 11 defeats amid more fan protests. The Premier League relegation battle is set for a fascinating finale over the next eight days, with former Liverpool manager Benitez now needing a huge favour from Everton.
