Biography
Niall Mason
Niall Aadya Mason, known as Niall Mason, a right back for the club, appeared as an unused substitute for Villa aged 19 on Tuesday, 2 February 2016.
Mason was born in Brighton on 10 January 1997. Villa had signed Mason from Southamptonโs youth team in April 2015, and he was first promoted to the first team squad by Rรฉmi Garde just under 12 months later.
Following Gardeโs departure and Villaโs relegation from the Premier League, Villaโs new boss, Roberto Di Matteo, sent Mason on loan to Doncaster Rovers for the 2016-17 campaign.
With Di Matteo gone and replaced by Steve Bruce, Mason was transferred to Doncaster Rovers in July 2017 on a free transfer, aged 20, having made just a single squad appearance for the club.
