Biography
Jerell Sellars
Jerell Anthony Sellars, a forward, appeared as an unused substitute for Villa on Tuesday, 25 August 2015.
Jerell was born in Lincoln on 11 December 1995 and had been recruited to Villa’s youth set up from Lincoln City in July 2012.
Sellars was promoted to the first team squad by Tim Sherwood for the 5-3 League Cup win over Notts County.
Following Sherwood’s sacking, his replacement, Rémi Garde, sent Sellers out on loan to Wycombe Wanderers from March to May 2016; however, by Jerell’s return, Garde had left the club, and Villa were relegated to the second tier.
Sellers would not feature in any further Villa squads and moved on to Cheltenham Town in July 2017 on a free transfer, aged 21.
