โThere is a slight problem at their end, but I do not envisage any difficulties.
"Clyde have also agreed to sell [Joe] Ward and I am hoping he will travel down to sign in the next day or so."

"Our position in the League speaks for the character of our players.
โWe have had terrible luck with injuries and several youngsters have come into the side and performed nobly.
โBut it is not always possible to pin all your hopes on young players immediately.
โThey need to be nursed carefully and used sparingly at the start of their careers.
