Villa looked to be coasting to a comfortable win against second tier Palace when former โkeeper John Burridge ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ who left the club seven months ago saved Tommy Craigโs ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ spot kick before the referee awarded a disputed hand ball penalty for Palace to equalise the score.
The referee went on to clamp down on dissent but continually overlooked the brutal challenges on and off the ball that Palace were inflicting on the home players.
