"It's a tender spot to get a whack. It is pretty painful at the moment and although everybody seems to think it will be all right by Wednesday. I'm not so sure.โ

"I thought that everyone of the 22 players out there worked hard.
โWe certainly did. But although we played some pretty good football we also played some not so good stuff.
"There was a lot of physical contact. Both sides were closing it down which, of course, is all part of the game.
โThere were a lot of loose 50-50 balls and a surprising number of occasions when a player from each side went for it and both ended up needing treatment.
"But we never really controlled it in midfield, which is the area you must dominate if you hope to do anything positive."
