Villa lose in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Turf Moor in front of 8,000 travelling Villa fans as they are narrowly beaten by first division Burnley.
Vic Crowe's Villa fall to first division Burnley in the FA Cup third round.
Bruce Rioch makes his final appearance for Villa aged 26 before moving on to Derby County for a fee of ยฃ200,000 later this month. Rioch played for Villa between 1969-70 and 1973-74 making 178 appearances and scoring 37 goals.
