MATCHDAY QUOTES
"My job was to settle everyone down and look at things in a less hysterical way.
“I feel sensitive and testy sometimes that there is not enough support given to this club.
“People think we are a big club and we are here to be shot at.
“We were lucky today but sometimes you've got to love the players a bit."
Graham Taylor, exasperated with the local rag once again, hits out..

ASTON Villa striker David Platt earned his side only their second league win of the season with his third goal in as many games yesterday.
Platt, pushed forward from midfield to replace the axed Adrian Heath, settled the issue on the stroke of half-time with his fifth goal of the campaign.
He latched onto a flick from winger Tony Daley - back in the side after five matches - and evaded Mark Wright's challenge before steering the ball wide of Peter Shilton from a narrow angle.
But Villa were indebted to some glaring second half misses by Derby, with Dean Saunders the chief culprit.
First he blazed over from eight yards after a mistake by defender Derek Mountfield and then headed wide when unmarked from Ted McMinn's cross.
