Villa beat Leicester in the FA Cup fourth round after a late Andy Gray 🏴 strike but once again it is the notorious referee Clive Thomas who dominates the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Centre forward Andy Gray 🏴 contributes his ⚽ 🔥 40th goal involvement in a Villa shirt on his 🕒 59th appearance at a rate of one every 1.48 games.

"This was my worst performance since joining Villa.
“It's a good job the rest of the lads played well.
"I just could not get going.
“It was very frustrating and I think I possibly tried too hard covering ground which I normally would not do if Ray Graydon had been around."
Andy Gray.
"Gray was possibly the most ineffectual player in the side until he scored the goal.
“But scoring goals is what he is paid for and on this occasion I will forgive him.
"Happily, we had five performers out there who were outstanding and that spell near the end carried us through."
Ron Saunders.
"Goalkeeper John Burridge stopped the ball just six inches from the line [Steve Earle appeared to bundle Frank Worthington's header over the line to open the scoring for Leicester].
“It was not a goal.
"I daresay that somebody in the grandstand (the assessor) will claim that I should have sent one of the offenders off [John Gidman and Steve Earle after a first-half flare up.]
“I had three alternatives to send them both off, turn my back on them or give them a good lecture.
"As the trainers did not have to be called on to give treatment I decided to give them a talking to and it seemed to do the trick.”
Referee Clive Thomas.
