A joke game at Old Trafford as Villa go into the interval one goal down after missing a first half penalty, the referee then awards three penalties to leaders Manchester United and allows an offside goal as Villa suffer their biggest post war loss.
Full back Jimmy Harrison made his eighth and final appearance for Villa before moving on to Coventry City in July 1951.
