Miller played for Villa between 1948-49 and 1950-51 making 34 appearances and scoring 10 goals.

Miller was born in Newent, Gloucester on 21 September 1926 and made his debut appearance for Villa on Saturday, 11 December 1948 at the age of 22.

Villa had signed Miller from Hereford United as an outside in September 1948 it would be as a centre forward that he shone for Villa described as “an enthusiastic member of the side who put everything into each 90 minutes he played.”
