Arthur was born in Bloxwich on 16 May 1868.
Arthurโs debut came on 5th September 1892 and his final game on 21st January 1893.
Villa had signed Arthur from Wednesbury Old Athletic however following his 13 appearances he moved on to Burton Swifts.
Arthur played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
