“We bought him to get him a few crosses for our big strikers but all he did was kick the ball against his two markers he is in there now rubbing butter on their bruises.
"He has got to learn in our football when he can get the ball across as he did on Saturday against Manchester United and when he must stop and pull it back for Gibson to centre.
"We are going to have to sort it out.
“It's back to school for Didier.”
Having already undermined League and European Cup winners Dennis Mortimer and Des Bremner as well as demoralising new signing Steve Foster, Graham Turner - only one man’s choice for Villa boss - turns his man motivation sights onto Didier Six in his second game in English football.
“I just had to get in some sort of tackle [on Julian Broddle].
”The moment I made the challenge I feared that I had conceded a penalty.
“I cannot tell you how surprised and relieved I was when the referee [Norman Glover] waved play on.
It could have made a world of difference to the match had they scored then."
Colin Gibson.
