Villa suffer a shock ๐ฅ defeat - their first in eight under Tony Barton - to surprise opponents - a Leeds side languishing in the relegation zone as they conceded four in 21 minutes to leave the reigning champions 12th in the first division table.
Reigning Champions Villa make it ๐ฉ seven Division One wins, ๐จ four draws and ๐ฅ three defeats under Tony Barton.
In total Barton had now led Villa for nineteen games and delivered ๐ฉ nine wins, ๐จ six draws and ๐ฅ four defeats since taking over from Ron Saunders whose record over 35 games in 1981-82 had been ๐ฉ fifteen wins, ๐จ eight draws and ๐ฅ twelve losses.
Villaโs unsuccessful title defence now consisted of ๐ฉ thirteen wins, ๐จ eleven draws and ๐ฅ thirteen defeats after 37 games.
Winger Mark Walters ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ 17 makes his debut in a Villa shirt after being promoted from the Youth Team to become the 618th player to play for Villa in first team League or Cup football.
