Losing players of the calibre of Andy Gray ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ and John Gidman ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ early in the season before losing John Deehan's goalscoring credentials ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ was always going to mean a challenging season.
But suffering an injury crisis in the latter stages of the campaign so severe that the club were forced to play peripheral reserve team players Robert Hopkins ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ and Noel Blake ๐ฏ๐ฒ meant that any top ten finish was something to behold.
