Michael Blackwood and Alex Meredith score either side of half-time to take control against much-fancied Charlton Athletic, before Stephen Evans added a third late on, only for the visitors to grab a consolation in injury time. Blackwood started and finished the move for Villaโs first with Dominic Reece crossing into the box for Darius Vassell to work some magic to create space to cross and Blackwood headed in.
