Villa take an early lead, have two goalbound efforts cleared off the line, only for the home side to equalise and then take the lead before half-time on a rare breakaway. Villa boss the second half like the first, yet it is Peterborough who somehow scramble a goal and chasing the game, Villa are picked off by a side they should never be troubled by, yet so regularly are.
Villaโs defeat is made all the worse as Wolves win and leapfrog Villa into top spot.
