Villa had signed Peter from Glasgow Celtic and he contributed 19 games to help Villa to a 4th place league finish in 1892-93.
Peter’s final game for Villa came on the 4th April 1893 before
moving on to Stoke.
Peter played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Peter passed away following a chest complaint in Glasgow on 2nd September 1895 aged just 24.
