"I was very disappointed at being booked for the tackle. I won the ball and the guy started kicking at me. Then I retaliated a bit."
“We have a good team, everyone is buzzing
“We are unstoppable with Graham Taylor leading us. He's teaching me things I didn't even know about.
“I’m already a better player and I think there's a lot more to come out, as well."
“We are finding it difficult to settle in Birmingham. I'm a London boy and life here is very different."
Andy Gray.
"In that respect Gray was unfortunate.
"The tackle was a foul but it was not malicious.
"I spoke to referee after the match and he regretted having to caution the pair of them.
“I thought the refereeing was first class, by the way, and I am making no issue of that.
"We won't know until Wednesday or Thursday how the offence was graded but if it was a three or four pointer then Gray will miss Reading and Stoke.
"There seems to be a nice balance and shape about the 11.
“We're back in a position where, even it another team wins all their matches, we have to drop points not to go up.”
Graham Taylor.
"I've played eight matches since returning and I haven't felt a thing.
"I was a great fan of Mark's [Walters] and. yes, I suppose I have replaced him although we play in very different ways.
“His ball control was amazing. I try to be fast and direct although I realise I have to improve my final ball and positional play.
'They've all got to catch us now. Without taking anything for granted. we're in the driving seat."
Tony Daley.
