Villa picked up an away-day win against Leicester City in the Under-18 Premier League on Saturday.
The Young Lions led at half-time thanks to a goal from Ben Broggio, but surrendered their advantage a minute after the break when Amani Richards levelled.
Charlie Lutz put his side back in front on 72 minutes, sealing the three points with his seventh league goal of the season late on.
Victory sees Villa stay 12[^th] in the table ahead of their Premier League Cup semi-final against Charlton Athletic on March 11.
Villa started the match on the front foot and came within inches of taking the lead when Finley Munroe’s free-kick cannoned off the underside of the crossbar.
A move of pure quality produced the opening goal for the visitors after 28 minutes, with Villa stringing together 12 passes as they built through the thirds.
Broggio received the ball from Lutz and lobbed the goalkeeper with an audacious chip from the left-hand side of the penalty area.
During the first half, the Foxes had found claret and blue shirts in the way of their shots, but they quickly cut through after the restart.
Richards raced onto a through ball and fired a shot beyond James Wright.
Lutz led the response as he saw a shot drift narrowly wide before making no mistake when presented with another chance on 72 minutes.
Kyrie Pierre and Dylan Mitchell combined to release Lutz beyond the Leicester defence, and the striker sent a first-time effort in off the crossbar.
A defence-splitting pass from Jayden Barber created the third goal ten minutes later, with Lutz powering a shot into the far corner from a tight angle.
