Crisis! Villa can’t score! The Bubble has burst!
Sit down you muppets.
Domination from first to last from back to front and across the pitch, 4-0 up on 30’ and then a practice match thereafter. Villa go back to joint 2nd in the table, and a lot of people have gone very quiet.
Now just to wait for Chris Wilder to say something very stupid indeed.

ON THIS DAY
Whilst Morgan Rogers makes his debut after his £8m move from Middlesbrough, Leon Bailey makes his 85th appearance for Villa since joining under Dean Smith in August 2021, and Boubacar Kamara chalks up his 50th appearance following his arrival in July 2022.
Meanwhile, Villa boast five different goalscorers in a Premier League match for the first time since beating Bolton at Villa Park in November 2009 under Martin O’Neill when Ashley Young, Gabriel Agbonlahor, John Carew, James Milner and Carlos Cuéllar hit the goals in a 5-1 win.
And a week after Ollie Watkins hit his 50th League goal for the club, John McGinn records his 50th goal involvement - 25 goals and 25 assists - since his debut in 2018.

MATCHDAY QUOTES
“It’s not very relevant, the transfer window in January, because the most important and strong structure we’ve tried to do, and did, in the summer transfer window.
“We are happy because we did small things like Bertrand Traoré left and Kaine Kesler rejoined after he was on loan and playing well in the Championship. The Australian goalkeeper joined, a young player as well, and Morgan Rogers.
“I’m really happy because it’s not being relevant to do a lot of things [in January]. We tried to be intelligent and work to join some young players and talented players.
“Morgan is a young player, a talented player, who is from here. We were following him, and he played against us with Middlesbrough.
“We analysed him and I think for a lot of things – he’s young, his potential is big, he’s from Birmingham – we added one player in the squad who can play as a number eight, a number ten or sometimes as a striker. His skills will be important for us.
“We were disappointed on Tuesday, and on Wednesday we recovered the energy being positive. After Wednesday, we were working here and practicing here in the training ground, focusing on our way.
“Tomorrow in Sheffield is a very important match for us after the defeat we had at home to Newcastle. We are really excited and motivated to play tomorrow.
“The most important thing is how we can face the match and our preparation for the match. We worked this morning and we’re going to travel after lunch.
“We are going to try to focus 100% on the match and it’s very important. It’s difficult as well because playing away is always difficult.
“In the summer we brought in some players and now in January too. With everybody we have to try to get stronger in our structure in the squad. We have quality players and specialist in different positions.
“One of them is Moussa Diaby and I am happy with him. His commitment is high and his behaviour is fantastic. His performances haven’t been consistent but I can understand because he is in the process of understanding everything.
“He is adapting in the Premier League which is difficult. I don’t know if it’s more difficult than in Germany, but it is difficult.
“I spoke with him and usually we are meeting with the squad, with the team collectively and individually too. I send them the same message - we are building a team and we are in that process.
“We are always trying to send him the same message - we are building a team collectively. You have to understand and practice a lot how we can combine with different players in our tactical idea and get stronger when we face each match.
“He is in the process and with this process I am happy. The most important thing for me is the commitment and behaviour everyday. He is always with his teammates practising and trying to improve.
"To play away is being tough against every team. They are at the bottom but they will need to win tomorrow and we are going to face them with their supporters.
"They will feel strong and are fighting in duels a lot. I think they have a very good tactical idea because they have very good players, wingers playing inside and running in behind too. They have strong midfielders and experiences.
“We respect the opponent because one month ago they drew here against us. As well, because they will push a lot tomorrow and they will be tomorrow feeling confident with their supporters trying to get their best performance.
“When teams are playing at home they try to show their supporters their qualities and wishes to play, trying to win.
“I will face a team being more aggressive than when they played against us at home. Sometimes they will play defensively lower, but they were successful against us like that.
“They could feel comfortable playing like that at home, but at home it’s completely sure for me they are going to try to play being more offensive than they were here.
“If we can impose our positioning on the pitch with our structure sometimes as well, they will play being defensively lower, but they were successful against us.
“They could feel as well perhaps comfortable playing like that but at home, I am sure from my opinion that they will play being more offensive than they were against us.”
Unai Emery, pre-match.
"It's a massive win. Obviously the scoreline but also a great performance from the boys. It's massive for us to bounce back after the defeat midweek against Newcastle. Our away form hasn't been up to scratch so it was a big performance for us today and a great win.
"I am always capable of going on a run. It's just about the mindset and the belief - belief that my team-mates are going to give me the ball like they did today, then I have got to finish the opportunities that I get.
"We needed it massively. Football is very fickle. We could have gone 17 points ahead of Newcastle. They drew today then we have won and the gap changes again. It changes very quickly. Really happy with our response and we now push on and hopefully can go on a good FA Cup run."
Ollie Watkins.
"Five goals is incredible, very clinical in front of goal. It's very important for us.
"Newcastle played really well [in the last game]. We didn't play very well. Today the reaction was very important. Away is very tough. A good performance.
"I am very happy for Ollie. He's very important for this team. Today he had a great performance. The most important thing is the clean sheet for Emi, the victory and the clean sheet.
"We have some tough games. We need the fans at home. It's very important for us.
"I'm very happy for this goal. I'm delighted. I dedicate the goal to my family, a lot of people have helped me a lot."
Álex Moreno.
"I'm happy because before the match we were very focused to react. We scored goals, created chances and stopped them. Winning away is difficult.
"It was better than we were thinking at the beginning. We were clinical. We conceded two good chances at the end of the match.
"Emiliano always wants to keep clean sheets, like a striker [with goals].
"They were playing at home and started very well, they created the first chances. We stopped them. We were breaking their pressure and creating spaces.
"We have to try to focus each match. We're really happy. Our aggression was fantastic.
"We reacted very well after Tuesday. We were focused.
"We controlled the game. The last 10 minutes we conceded one goal, overturned by VAR, and two chances.
"We want to win. The result at the end, scoring goals is important but the most important thing is to play safe."
Unai Emery, post match.
